Portugal is at the top of the EU countries with the highest price rises

The annual inflation rate in the euro area was established in June and 0.2% in the European Union (EU) stood at 0.1%, with Portugal recording the fourth highest (0.8%), according Eurostat.
In the euro zone, the inflation rate of 0.2% compares with a 0.5% rate recorded in the same month of 2014 and a rate of 0.3% recorded in May.
Already in all the 28 Member States, the 0.1% that the official statistics office of the EU has set for June are a setback compared to 0.3% in May and 0.7% une 2014.
In June, there were negative inflation rates in eight Member States and the lowest were recorded in Cyprus (-2.1%), Greece (-1.1%), Romania and Slovenia (-0 9% each).
