The weekly average price of refined products points to a low of at least three to five cents in fuel prices from Monday.

The average price of fuel is expected to register the largest decline of the year next week, reflecting the fall in oil prices. The descent can vary between 3 cents on a liter of diesel, 4 cents on gasoline, although some sources admit more pronounced low, up to five cents per liter.

The prices of refined products registered a sharp drop this week in reaction to the sharp depreciation in oil prices that came to negotiate the 2009 figures, due to the cooling of the Chinese economy. The prices recovered later in the week and the price of refined products was rising on Friday. Still, not enough to avoid a weekly average sharply lower from the previous week.
