A study released in the internet forum which shows that restaurants use various psychological tricks to make pay more, read in the British Independent site.
There are at least three tricks that can ‘handle it’:
1 – The more descriptive the menu is, the greater the feeling that the dish is cheap, since we give the money as ‘well spent’ in something as compound. Even better is ‘jump’ adjectives and try to synthesize the description.
2 – Place the most expensive dishes on the list, hoping that the client ‘perceive’ the other dishes are compared, very cheap.
3 – Often there is a use of ‘special’ food or ‘the day’. Since most customers do not ask the price and trust as defined above, you end up spending more money than when you choose something from the menu.
